Alpha and Beta Reading

I understand the amount of time, effort, and love that goes into each manuscript. My goal is to help bring an experienced set of reader eyes to your novel and to help it reach it’s fullest potential. I am here to analyze storylines and characterizations, as well dialogue, plot holes, and timelines. I offer solutions to any constructive feedback and pay special attention to the flow of the story. Though I am not an editor or proofreader, I will make note of overused words or phrases and light grammatical mistakes.

I love to read fiction and all genres. Lately, I have worked mainly within the M/M community but I am open to reading almost anything and everything outside of erotica and non-fiction. I have been an avid reader for the majority of my life and understand the tropes, tensions, and romances that can go into a book to make it wonderful. I give chapter specific feedback as I read, as well as comprehensive feedback once I have finished the manuscript. My services don't end when I hand the manuscript back to you. I'm always open to discussion on how to make your manuscript better as you revise it and to be there as a sounding board.

This is one of my most popular services. I offer beta readings from $.75 per 1k words. However, I'm flexible and these prices are negotiable. Send me a message and we can work something out.

It is easiest for me to work through a google doc however if another format works better I am happy to discuss options.

I begin working on the novel as soon as payment is made. I take full payment with no refunds (this is due to misdemeanors by a few authors).
